Which are baptism and the LORD’s Supper, Baptism is the immersion in water of a believer in Christ, “in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost”; and symbolizes the believer’s death, burial and resurrection with Christ to walk in newness of life. The Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of His broken body and shed blood for the remission of sin, and symbolizes the fact that the believer identified himself with the death of Jesus Christ. These ordinances should be fulfilled only by those whose faith in Christ, Romans 6:3-6; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
